For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to EZ-AD include EZ-AD, website (link), and app. By using the EZ-AD website or app, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

We may also collect information about you in the following ways:

Location Information. If you use our website, we may collect location data obtained from your IP address. We may use this location data to better understand the geographical distribution of our customers and improve our marketing efforts.

Other Information. If you use our websites, we may collect information about the browser you are using. We might track the pages you visit, look at what website you came from, or what website you visit when you leave us. We collect this information using the tracking tools described in the “Tracking User's Behaviour” section. To control those tools, please read the Your Privacy Preferences section.

We collect information from you passively. We may use tracking tools like browser cookies, flash cookies, and web beacons.

Contests, Questions, or Surveys. When you ask a question, participate in a survey, or enter a contest or sweepstakes, we may collect your name, address, phone number, and email address. We may use this information to facilitate your participation in a contest or sweepstakes. At that time, we may ask your permission to send you future marketing information.

To enhance, personalize, and support your experience on the Site, among other things, we collect, use, and share your user information. For example, we may use the aggregated information to develop content targeted to user interests and to generally improve the Site's user experience. As detailed below, your user information may also be used by EZ-AD and its partners to tailor content and ads, provide social media features (e.g., features that allow you to share content directly to your preferred social media platform), track your preferences, analyze traffic, and provide similar services and content. EZ-AD is committed to your privacy and will not share any user information with any third party without your consent except as outlined in this Privacy Statement or as permitted by law. If you have any requests, comments, problems, or questions about this Privacy Statement or your user information, please contact us in the manner provided at the end of this document.

EZ-AD is your contractual partner and controller of your personal data in accordance with Art. 4 para. 7 General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and § 13 German Tele media Act concerning entering into and administering the contractual relationship with you. For information on data processing in relation to your responsible use of the functionalities of the Software as well as the Server Services as described in the EULA, please refer to the information concerning the use of EZ-AD .

Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through EZ-AD 's public message boards, this information may be collected and used by others.

When you sign up or engage with EZAI, EZAI uses your personal data for the administration and enhancement of the contract with you. The legal basis for processing your personal data is outlined under C. II. is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.

We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain products or services available on the Site. These may include: (a) registering for an account on our Site; (b) entering a sweepstake or contest sponsored by us, or one of our partners; (c) signing up for special offers from selected third parties; (d) sending us an email message; We may use your information for, but not limited to, communicating with you in relation to services, products, or information you have requested from us. We also may gather additional personal or non-personal information in the future.

Use of your Personal Information

EZ-AD collects and uses your personal information to operate its website and app and deliver the services you have requested.

EZ-AD may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from EZ-AD and its affiliates.

EZ-AD is using information about the frequency of your use of EZ-AD web and app in order to monitor if the agreed license restrictions are observed, and in case we recognize that they are exceeded, we will contact you to suggest changing your license type. The legal basis for processing your personal data is outlined under C. III is Art. 6 para. 1 lit b) GDPR.

EZ-AD may use your information to protect our company, our customers, or our websites if we suspect fraud or other illegal activities or if there is an investigation relating to the same.

EZ-AD may use your information for our marketing. In certain circumstances, we may target you with digital ads, social ads, print ads, and other ads, and communications about special promotions, offers, or rewards. For example, if you have registered on a website and indicated you want to receive this information. We may also notify you of new website features or product and service offerings.

EZ-AD may use your information to communicate with you about your account or our relationship. We may contact you to tell you about changes to this Privacy Policy, the Terms of Use of our websites or mobile services, or changes to any of our programs in which you might be enrolled. We may also tell you about issues with your orders or if there is a product recall.

If you place an inquiry with EZ-AD by using the in-product feedback feature, EZ-AD needs to process your personal data in order to answer your request. The legal basis for processing your personal data is outlined under C. IV is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.

If you sign up for EZ-AD 's promotional email subscription, EZ-AD processes your personal data in order to send you the newsletter. Legal basis to provide you with the newsletter is your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR, which you may revoke at any time with effect for the future. In case you have a paid subscription, we may use your email address to send you information on similar products and services. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit b) GDPR, sec. 7 para. 3 Unfair Competition Act ("UWG").

In the case you use EZ-AD to pay for specific services we may offer in the future, EZ-AD additionally collects information to support payment processing, which includes a payment token provided by our Payment Service Provider to identify the transaction. The legal basis for processing your personal data is outlined under C. IV is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.

Where it is necessary for compliance with a legal or regulatory obligation that we are subject to, we process your personal data according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e) GDPR.

Additional Security Info You Should Know

Call Centers: When you contact our Call Center, you may be asked for information that identifies you, along with additional information we need to help us promptly answer your question or concerns. This may include your name, address, and phone number where we can reach you. We may keep this information to assist you in the future.

Online Registration: Registration on our website or app is an optional service. When you register, you are asked for personal information such as your name, physical address, phone number, email address, password, and, optionally, your interests. When you register, you will also have the opportunity to sign up for future marketing information from EZ-AD .

Passwords: If you choose to register on our website or mobile app, you will be asked to create a username and password. In order to further protect your personal information, please do not share your password with anyone else. If you wish to cancel a password, or if you become aware of any loss, theft, or unauthorized use of your password, please contact us in the manner provided at the end of this document.

No “phishing” allowed. We will never request your password, user name, credit card information, or other personal data through email. This practice, called "phishing," is a scam designed to steal your personal information. If you receive an email that looks like it is from EZ-AD requesting this type of personal information, please delete it.

Privacy Preferences / Opt-Out. As a registered user, you may request to see the personal information that we have about you. To access your profile information at any time, sign in/log in to your account. If you want to exercise your right to have your personal data deleted. You can do it using the following link.

To unsubscribe from email marketing communications, please select the 'Unsubscribe' link located at the bottom of that particular email message.

Although you may have opted not to receive marketing communications, you may still get confirmations when registering for an event, event recall notices (that you registered for), or other order-related communications.

Sharing Information with Third Parties

EZ-AD does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties.

EZ-AD may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to EZ-AD , and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

EZ-AD may disclose your personal information without notice if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with the legal process served on EZ-AD or the site and app; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of EZ-AD ; and/or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of EZ-AD , or the public.

Tracking User Behavior

EZ-AD may keep track of the websites and pages our users visit within EZ-AD in order to determine what EZ-AD services are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customized content and advertising within EZ-AD to customers whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.

EZ-AD tracks page clicks, links, user session times, and viewed content/media.

Automatically Collected Information

Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by EZ-AD . This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times, and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain the quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding the use of the EZ-AD website, app, and extensions/integrations.

Use of Cookies

The EZ-AD website may use "cookies" to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

For example, if you register with EZ-AD 's site or services, a cookie helps EZ-AD to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. Security of your Personal Information

EZ-AD secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. EZ-AD uses the following methods for this purpose:

When personal information (such as name and address) is transmitted to or from our servers, it is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS) v1.2 or later.

We strive to take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or alteration of your personal information. Such third parties may need information about you in order to perform their functions. We generally do not conduct a review of third parties privacy practices and privacy policies. However, we will inform our clients of the identities of the third parties we share data. We will work with our Clients when requested to ensure that those third parties have the appropriate privacy policies and practices in place, and we will not deal with third parties whose privacy practices our Clients or we believe are not properly secured or are insufficient.

Children Under Thirteen

EZ-AD does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this website.

Disconnecting your EZ-AD Account from Third-Party Websites

You may be able to connect your EZ-AD account to third-party accounts. BY CONNECTING YOUR EZ-AD ACCOUNT TO YOUR THIRD-PARTY ACCOUNT, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOU ARE CONSENTING TO THE CONTINUOUS RELEASE OF INFORMATION ABOUT YOU TO OTHERS (IN ACCORDANCE WITH YOUR PRIVACY SETTINGS ON THOSE THIRD-PARTY SITES). IF YOU DO NOT WANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOU, INCLUDING PERSONALLY IDENTIFYING INFORMATION, TO BE SHARED IN THIS MANNER, DO NOT USE THIS FEATURE. You may disconnect your account from a third-party account at any time. Users can easily delete third-party integrations by signing into their account and visiting the respective feature page.

E-mail Communications

From time to time, EZ-AD may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication. In order to improve our Services, we may receive a notification when you open an email from EZ-AD or click on a link therein.

If you would like to stop receiving marketing or promotional communications via email from EZ-AD , you may opt out of such communications. Users may log into their account and visit the account profile page if they'd like to remove their information from our promotions list.

External Data Storage Sites

We may store your data on servers provided by third-party hosting vendors with whom we have contracted.

Changes to this Statement

EZ-AD reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account, by placing a prominent notice on our site, and/or by updating any privacy information on this page. If we make any material changes, we will notify you by email if legally required (sent to the e-mail address specified in your account) or by means of a notice on this website prior to the change becoming effective. Breach Notification

It is impossible for EZ-AD to completely guarantee that user data will be immune from malicious attack or compromise; as such, users should understand that their transmission of personal data is at their own risk. However, in the event of data breaches or compromise, EZ-AD strives to follow the protocol taken below, which may differ under various circumstances:

It is EZ-AD ' policy to be fair and proportionate when considering the actions to be taken to inform affected parties regarding breaches of personal data. In line with the GDPR, where a breach is known to have occurred, which is likely to result in a risk to the rights and freedoms of individuals, the relevant supervisory authority will be informed within 72 hours.

Under the GDPR, the relevant DPA has the authority to impose a range of fines of up to four percent of annual worldwide turnover or twenty million dollars, whichever is the higher, for infringements of the regulations.

California Residents

This privacy notice for California residents supplements the information contained in the EZ-AD Privacy policy and applies solely to visitors, users, and others who reside in the State of California (“consumers” or “you”). We adopt this notice to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) and other California privacy laws.  Any terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used within this notice.

Information We Collect: We may collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, references, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or device (“personal information”). In particular, we have collected the following categories of personal information from consumers within the last twelve (12) months:

A real name, alias, postal address, unique personal identifier, online identifier, Internet Protocol (IP) address, email address, account name, or other similar identifiers.

Current or past job history.
J. Non-public education information (per the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (20 U.S.C. Section 1232g, 34 C.F.R. Part 99))
Education records directly related to a student maintained by an educational institution or party acting on its behalf, such as grades, transcripts, class lists, student schedules, student identification codes, student financial information, or student disciplinary records.
K. Inferences drawn from other personal information
Profile reflecting a person's preferences, characteristics, psychological trends, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities, and aptitudes.

Personal information does not include:

  • Publicly available information from government records.

  • De-identified or aggregated consumer information.

  • Information excluded from the CCPA's scope, such as:

  • health or medical information covered by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act (CMIA) or clinical trial data;

  • personal information covered by certain sector-specific privacy laws, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FRCA), the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) or California Financial Information Privacy Act (FIPA), and the Driver's Privacy Protection Act of 1994.

We obtain the categories of personal information listed above from the following categories of sources:

  • Directly from our customers or their agents. For example, from documents that our customers provide to us related to the services for which they engage us.

  • Indirectly from our customers or their agents. For example, through information we collect from our customers in the course of providing services to them.

  • Directly and indirectly from activity on our main website and related websites. For example, from submissions through our website portal or website usage details collected automatically.

  • From third parties that interact with us in connection with the services we perform.

Use of Personal Information. We may use or disclose the personal information we collect for one or more of the following business purposes:

  • To fulfill or meet the reason for which the information is provided.

  • To provide you with information, products, or services that you request from us.

  • To provide you with email alerts, event registrations, and other notices concerning our products or services, or events or news, that may be of interest to you.

We will not collect additional categories of personal information or use the personal information we collected for materially different, unrelated, or incompatible purposes without providing you advance notice.

Sharing Personal Information. We may disclose your personal information to a third party for business purposes. When we disclose personal information for business purposes, we enter into a contract describing the purpose for sharing the data. This contract also requires the recipient party to keep the personal information confidential and not use it for any other purpose except as described by the contract.

In the preceding twelve (12) months, we have disclosed the following categories of personal information for a business purpose:

Category A: Identifiers.

Category B: California Customer Records personal information categories.

Category C: Protected classification characteristics under California or federal law.

We disclose your personal information for business purposes to the following categories of third parties:

  • Our affiliates.

  • Service providers.

  • To provide you with email alerts, event registrations, and other notices concerning our products or services, or events or news, that may be of interest to you.

  • Third parties to whom you or your agents authorize us to disclose your personal information in connection with products or services we provide to you.

In the preceding twelve (12) months, we have disclosed personal information with service providers or third parties for purpose of validating, improving, or enhancing the personal data we collected.

Your Rights and Choices. The CCPA provides consumers (California residents) with specific rights regarding their personal information. This section describes your rights under the CCPA and explains how to exercise those rights.

Access to Specific Information and Data Portability Rights

You have the right to request we disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your personal information over the past 12 months. Once we receive and confirm your request, we will disclose to you:

  • The categories of personal information we collected about you.

  • The categories of sources for the personal information we collected about

  • Our business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling that personal information.

  • The categories of third parties with whom we share that personal information.

  • The specific pieces of personal information we collected about you (also called a data portability request).

  • If we sold or disclosed your personal information for a business purpose, two separate lists disclosing:

  • sales, identifying the personal information categories that each category of recipient purchased; and

Deletion Request Rights

You have the right to request we delete any of your personal information we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive and confirm your request, we will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your personal information from our (their) records, unless an exception applies.

We may deny your deletion request if retaining the information is necessary for us or our service providers to:

  1. Complete the transaction for which we collected the personal information, provide a good or service that you requested, take actions reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, or otherwise perform our contract with you.

  2. Detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, or prosecute those responsible for such activities.

  3. Debug products to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality.

  4. Exercise free speech, ensure the right of another consumer to exercise their free speech rights, or exercise another right provided for by law.

  5. Comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act (Cal. Penal Code § 1546 seq.).

  6. Engage in public or peer-reviewed scientific, historical, or statistical research in the public interest that adheres to all other applicable ethics and privacy laws, when the information's deletion may likely render impossible or seriously impair the research's achievement, if you previously provided informed consent.

  7. Enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with consumer expectations based on your relationship with us.

  8. Comply with a legal obligation.

  9. Make other internal and lawful uses of that information that are compatible with the context in which you provided it.

By deleting your data we will no longer be able to send you promotional communications, offers, and coupons; you will no longer be able to sign onto our websites and mobile applications or your loyalty account and we will no longer be able to assign, maintain, and track accumulated points.

Exercising Access, Data Portability, and Deletion Rights

Only you, or a person registered with the California Secretary of State that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a request related to your personal information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child.

You may only make a request for access or data portability twice within a 12-month period. The request must:

  • Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative.

  • Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.

We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you. Making a verifiable consumer request does not require you to create an account with us. We will only use personal information provided in a request to verify the requestor's identity and/or authority to make the request. We do however require you to provide us with an email address to interact with you on this matter.

Response Timing and Format

We endeavor to respond to a verifiable consumer request within 45 days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to 90 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. We will deliver our written response by mail or electronically, at your option. Any disclosures we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding the verifiable consumer request's receipt. The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable. For data portability requests, we will select a format to provide your personal information that is readily useable and should allow you to transmit the information from one entity to another entity without hindrance.

We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.

Non-Discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. Unless permitted by the CCPA, we will not:

  • Deny you goods or services.

  • Charge you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through granting discounts or other benefits, or imposing penalties.

  • Provide you a different level or quality of goods or services.

  • Suggest that you may receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.

Changes to Our Privacy Notice. We reserve the right to amend this California privacy notice at our discretion and at any time. When we make changes to this privacy notice, we will notify you by email or through a notice on our website.
